{"id":2015,"date":"2014-09-01T09:58:23","date_gmt":"2014-09-01T13:58:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/harbirzinc.com\/sandradawes\/?p=2015"},"modified":"2014-09-01T09:58:23","modified_gmt":"2014-09-01T13:58:23","slug":"back-to-school-back-to-routine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/harbirzinc.com\/sandradawes\/2014\/09\/01\/back-to-school-back-to-routine\/","title":{"rendered":"Back to school, back to routine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It\u2019s that time of year again.\u00a0 The last long weekend of the summer and kids are back in school tomorrow.\u00a0 I remember when I was <a href=\"https:\/\/harbirzinc.com\/sandradawes\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/routine11.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-2016\" src=\"https:\/\/harbirzinc.com\/sandradawes\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/routine1-217x300.jpg\" alt=\"routine\" width=\"217\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>going to school, my mother always started to get me into my school routine \u2013 going to bed early and waking up early.\u00a0 I used to think my mom was just being mean, taking away that last bit of summer freedom.\u00a0 Now I realize that she understood the importance of establishing a routine, and that isn\u2019t going to happen overnight.<\/p>\n<p>It happens to the best of us.\u00a0 Whether it\u2019s time away from school or taking a break from work and going on vacation, we all have disruptions to our regular routine.\u00a0 A break from the normal schedule can be great!\u00a0 Getting back into a functional rhythm when it\u2019s time can be the challenging part.<\/p>\n<p>Is there a way to make the transition back to our regular daily routine that makes it less of a challenge?\u00a0 I think the key is to give yourself something to look forward to when it\u2019s time to go back to your regular schedule.\u00a0 Maybe it\u2019s a new project at work or for your business.\u00a0 Perhaps it\u2019s a new fitness class or continuing education class.\u00a0 Whatever it is, it ought to be something that motivates you to ensure that you\u2019re in top form mind, body and soul;
