Whether that \u201cbut\u201d was about money, time or help the truth is that it simply isn\u2019t a priority at the moment. While that may seem a bit harsh at first, I know from personal experience that when something is important to me, I find a way.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019ve ever wanted something so bad that not having it wasn\u2019t an option, you know what I\u2019m talking about. Even when others are throwing the \u201cbuts\u201d your way, you have no time to entertain them because you\u2019re focused on making that goal a reality. The \u201cbuts\u201d you\u2019re coming up with right now are simply excuses that cover the truth \u2013 you\u2019re not ready at this moment to do what it takes to make it a reality.<\/p>\n<p>What it takes to make your goals a reality could be any number of things:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Discipline<\/li>\n<li>Positive Habits<\/li>\n<li>A positive mindset<\/li>\n<li>Strong support system<\/li>\n<li>Financial Resources<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>No matter what the challenge is, remember that it isn\u2019t insurmountable! Some of the obstacles listed above may take more time to work through than others. That doesn\u2019t mean that it\u2019s impossible though, does it? Set a budget, get serious about starting a daily routine that helps you stay focused on what is important, set boundaries and connect with people who can support and encourage you through the journey.<\/p>\n<p>When you get honest about the \u201cbuts\u201d in your life, you can do something about them. Don\u2019t talk yourself out of living the life you want and deserve. You are worth it. It won\u2019t be easy. It\u2019s going to take commitment, determination and persistence to see your goals through to completion.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re up for it, I\u2019d love it if you\u2019d join me in a challenge. I\u2019m challenging myself to go <u>ONE WHOLE DAY without saying BUT<\/u>! I was going to push it and try a week, but as a recovering control freak and excuse maker I know better and am taking baby steps \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p>Are you up to the challenge? No \u201cbuts\u201d today. No, <em>I know I should work on this but <\/em>or <em>I wish I could get that done before the end of the year but<\/em>. Instead of looking for reasons why you can\u2019t or you haven\u2019t, look for reasons why you will. See how long you can go without making excuses why you can\u2019t do the things you want.
