Being the owner of a retail store wasn’t on my goal list this year, or any year for that matter, but here we are! The construction is almost complete, and we’re heading to town to pick up inventory this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Treasure Buds and Records is a souvenir and vinyl shop at Lashings Beach Club. It will also be the home of Vinyl Sundays, where my husband plays old-school vinyl records. The hotel owner and his wife have been very helpful in getting us started, and I’m grateful for that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here’s the view from where the record players will be set up. The children’s playhouse will be moved to a different area in the beach club: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Behind me, as I’m taking this picture, is the seating area for the beach club bar and restaurant. It’s the perfect location. I can work on my writing by the beach when things are slow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s also a great spot to sell my books! \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We haven’t decided when we will do the Grand Opening yet. We’ll have a better idea once we get the stock we want, but I’ll keep you posted!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
